It's almost that time of the year, yet again... I swear we just took the tree down last month!
This year my aim is for Christmas to be as HANDMADE as possible! I want to personalise gifts as much as I can. I want my nearest and dearest to know that I had them in mind when I chose to make their gift.
This is Sunny's final year of preschool. She has loved every moment of the last two years spent with a group of wonderful teachers who somehow became her 'second mums' when I wasn't around. These ladies not only taught my daughter about the world around her and the wonders that it holds for her to discover but they have also instilled in her a confidence that has helped her to flourish into the beautiful little girl that she is. Her teachers have the ability to personalise every child's day and Sunny's days, from her recollections alone, have been truly wondrous...
Last year I made a collection of small things as a Token of Thanks for Sunny's teachers. One of which included this. This year I want to thank the teachers yet again with something that they may be able to use again and again. And so far these are what I have come up with...
1. Hand printed napkins/tea towels.
2. Handmade pouches.
3. Market bag - Pattern by Posie.
4. Paper/Fabric covered notebooks.
Sweet and simple... I'm thinking Sunny can personalise these with some of her original artwork too.
So tell me, what gifts of thanks have you gifted your children's teachers in the past?
