Little Garderner...

Today we took a trip out to Bunnings or 'Bunnies' as Sunny calls it! She goes there for the mini trolleys and always takes an arm full of toys to cart around while we do our shopping. The purpose of today's trip was to re-stock on seeds to plant in our veggie patch. Long gone are our juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and silverbeet. In it's place we have a whole range of new veggies to plant and grow.

While we were there today I found these gorgeous little gardening packs for kids! I couldn't resist! The Little Gardeners pack came with a pink pot, flower seeds, soil and stickers to decorate the pot... What more could a girl want?! Last week Sunny watched an episode of Mr Maker where he made and grew a grass head... Well ever since then I've been hearing about her wanting to grow a person so that she can cut his hair! Enter the Munakuppi Hair Grow Kit! Yes also from 'Bunnies'!

I've never actually seen dried soil before that you have to add water to so our planting activity turned into a spontaneous science activity! We both loved watching the magic pellets turn into a bucket full of soil to plant with! Now all we have to do is wait for the sun and water to do its magic and turn help turn our tiny seeds into tiny flowers and ryegrass hair!

And so the waiting game begins...
